PRINCETON AIRPORT: 1969 - 1985

In 1969 Princeton Airport was sold by Danny Todd to Metro Aire, which continued the airport operations.  The Van Dyke family was primary operator and started Princeton Airways, which ran a commuter service during the late '70s through 1981.  It operated Islanders and Nomads.  When the controllers went on strike, the operations shut down; and the airport was put up for sale.

Princeton Airways Operated Islanders from 39N to Major Airports.
