Text Box: News From The
      Princeton Airport
       Flying Tigers

Good news.  14 Tigers in 6 planes attended the fly-in to Easton’s Tidewater Inn on the 26th, hosted by Lou.  Dan Bellware & his 3 passengers were disappointed as he had a flat strut and couldn’t go.  Tidewater Inn offered us a very nice buffet and we all ate our share.  The flight down and back was very smooth.
We have changed some of our procedures, as we now have a host for each of the fly-ins, so different members get a chance to participate.
February 16th:  Fly-in to Westchester County, NY (HPN) and it will be hosted by Tom O’Shea.
Future Events:  We have information for a bus trip to the National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC.  The trip would include:  Round trip transportation by motorcoach, a stop for breakfast (on your own); a visit to the museum and dinner at Phillips Harborplace in Baltimore Harbor.  $64.00/person.  More info to come.
Shirts, Jackets & Hats:  See Steve.
NOTE to Non Members:  If these events sound like fun, you bet it is.  Joining this prestigious group is a mere $25/year.  All you need to be is a student, and/or a pilot who flies from 39N.

Text Box:      As tensions in the Middle East escalate, we, too, are effected as several of our students and customers are serving in the reserves and they have been called up. To them and their family, we hope for a speedy conclusion to this crisis and we hope they will return home soon.

Text Box: Farewell, Ather Mahmood, who has returned to England a bit earlier than expected. He intends to start his conversion process there. We wish him well.  We have made every effort to reassign his students, however it we missed you, please call the office.

Text Box: A Special Thanks
To our staff who have gone above and beyond their duty to make the airplanes fly during these freezing cold days. Sam, Chris, Tim, David,  and Ed have all had multi-layers of clothing while they preheat and/or refuel the planes you want to fly.  Without you guys, we would not have flown the few hours we did.
                 Brrrrrrrrrr…..

Text Box: Congratulations,Mike Nosko, who now is the proud owner of a 2000 Cessna 172, with all its bells & whistles—enjoy!

·         Prepayments yield bonus only when there is no balance on your accounts.
·         Airplane owners—your discount of 7˘ a gallon is only valid when your account is current.
·         Unfortunately some operation manuals and /or pages have been removed from flight school equipment.  Push-To-Talk switches and microphones have been stolen.  If we find the culprit, we will ask you to leave.  You make it more costly for everyone.
·         If you refuel elsewhere, please turn in the receipt when you return. The maximum time we will allow is one week. (It creates chaos.)
·         Some time this spring, Jeppesen will no longer support the video system and switch to DVDs.  As such time that it happens, we will make a smooth transition.  (They will also be for sale.)
