A Fond Farewell to Laura Loy Sneary, who is leaving us.
She and Bill will be moving to North Jersey while awaiting the
arrival of their first child. We will miss you! Best wishes with
your new family.
Congratulations, John Parker, on the purchase of
that lovely Beech Bonanza - A36. Enjoy!
Welcome Back to 39N C182 and your owner, Richard Kusiv Jr. You are back where you belong.
Safety Corner: The birds have returned to New Jersey for the season. They are checking out your local condo! Make sure you perform an extra good preflight. If you need cowling plugs, check with Dick. He has some foam.
Welcome Aboard
There are many new faces at the airport these days. Finally we have adequate flight instructors to accomodate your schedules. CFI Ted Morris, from PA and CFII Russ Robbins, who moved here from Florida, are now on board and raring to go. Both men are full timers. If you need an instructor; have problems scheduling with your regular instructor; or just want a BFR, or a checkout, you can get on the schedule much more easily.
A heary welcome to Tiffany Warren, Joan Quinn, and Michael Wilson who will be scheduling and answering the phones and unicom. Be patient while the learn to speak "aviation".
Notice
If you have not flown with us for a long time, check the Internet for our monthly newsletter, as we will be purging our records.
Daylight Savings Time starts April 4th. Our last lesson will begin at 6:00 p.m. If the winds subside, your progress should improve immensely. Go to it.
Did you know that you helped make 1998 the safest year in history for general aviation? Congratulations! All that practicing worked.
Heading to Sun N Fun? (April 11 - 17) We have lots of charts to make your trip easy to plan and easy to fly.
Thinking of upgrading your craft? GPS, intercom, auto-pilot, engine scanner, lighting modification, etc. Talk to Ken.
Note: Garmin 430 GPS system is being shipped as we type. Interested? See Ken or Dick!
1982 Cessna Skyhawk IFR, 1700 Total Time! It's gorgeous and you won't see one like this again soon. See it to believe it! See Ken or Dick.
Congratulations, Ted Griffith, on your maiden flight in your beautifully crafted Glastar.
Attention Students: Let the flight instructor make the final decision to fly based upon the weather. They are better qualified to evaluate the conditions.
Congratulations to Dick Nierenberg who 32 years ago April 28, decided to leave the comforts of a family business to enter the world of aviation. He took over Raritan Valley Air, Kupper Airport, and the rest is history. Congratulations, another year successfully completed.
